Hong Kong - Television star Gallen Lo is engaged to Chinese actress Su Yan, who was one of the mahjong-playing wives in the film Lust, Caution.
The 46-year-old Hong Kong actor and Su, 34, had an impromptu engagement ceremony in Beijing last Friday, said Oriental Daily News. They will marry at the end of the year and he will move to Beijing for her, added the report.
The daily said they fell in love during the shoot of the serial Perfect Ending in China in 2007.
At the time, Lo and his first wife of 10 years, Clare Fong, with whom he has a son, were finalising their divorce.
He kept his romance with Su under wraps and told only close friends he had finally found somebody he could communicate with.
