Edison Chen (陳冠希) is back in the media glare, not in the flesh but in a promotional poster for Sony PlayStation, reported The Standard in Hong Kong today.

Edison bowed out of showbusiness earlier this year after sex photos of him cavorting with female celebrities were stolen and leaked onto the internet.

His hip-hop label CLOT has designed a crossover jacket for PlayStation to be given away at a lucky draw at the Asia Game Show, which starts today.

"Edison did not want to do the photo shoot at the beginning, but I convinced him he really is 'God' to young trend followers," James Hong, Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong deputy general manager is quoted by the newspaper as saying.

Customers who spend HK$4000 or more will be in with a chance of picking up one of 1,000 limited edition jackets, which is not for sale.

Edison currently resides in the United States. In October he refused to return to Hong Kong to testify in the trial of a computer technician who allegedly distributed the star's sex photos.
